Then I thought – how inspiring would it be to connect the two elements design & flowers. And is that even possible to do on a daily basis?

I got the answer to my own question yesterday. I watched a show called “Flowers Uncut” with a guy called Jeff Leatham. He is what I would consider one of the most talented artists in contemporary art. Though some might disagree. What makes him so special is that he connects design and flowers – and makes it into art in its most delicate form.

His floral installations are made for events and special clients. It’s fascinating because the kind of art he makes can’t last forever. At some point it will die – like all good things.

I know that pictures can never capture that feeling of seeing and smelling – but I’ve collected some pictures of Jeff Leatham’s work.

My Sister’s Wardrobe

I used my Easter break to spend some time with my sister. She absolutely loves fashion. I took the liberty of shooting a few pictures of some of her cool stuff. 

A COOL CONCEPT

 Abercrombie & Fitch

First of all – Abercrombie & Fitch is a cool concept. For those who don’t know the concept behind Abercrombie & Fitch you’ll be thrilled. Instead of using regular sales people in their stores – they use models. And it’s the same models that are used in their campaigns.

Abercrombie & Fitch is promoted as a young, hot, casual and sporty brand. Everything about A&F appeals to the customer. And they’ve created a universe that people want to be a part of. That sells clothes!

A&F has some of the hottest marketing campaigns. The man behind them is Bruce Weber. The setting is usually raw, outdoor-ish and with models wearing very little clothes. And of cause – my favourite kind of photography: grey scaled.

In their newest campaign they focus on the gay market…which has always had an interest in A&F.

Abercrombie and Fitch have embraced the gay imagery they have been labeled with. And it’s working for them!

I have been seriously impressed with Abercrombie & Fitch ever since I visited their store on 5^th avenue in NYC in 2010. If you ever get the chance: DO IT!
